SUMMARY:NVPC Exhibition: Ancestors\, Answer Me!
DESCRIPTION:“We’re not so interested in poetry as pop-up culture. We are more interested in how it can disrupt and reimagine the way we understand ourselves\,” reflects the curatorial bedrock behind Ancestors\, Answer Me!\, an exhibition of shortlisted works from the New Voices Poetry Contest 2025\, presented in partnership with the Museum of African Poetry.  \nFeaturing poems that move beyond the page\, the exhibition reveals how African narratives through poetry expand the language of memory\, history\, and imagination\, forming a living archive that testifies to the dialogue between ancestral inheritance and contemporary expression. \nCommunity is central to this exhibition\, which opens new pathways for recognition\, accessibility\, and dialogue. Hosted at e-Ananse Library\, East Legon\, the collaboration affirms the Museum’s mission to archive\, amplify\, and sustain African poetic heritage\, ensuring that the voices of today become part of tomorrow’s literary memory. \nAncestors\, Answer Me! is organized by the Museum of African Poetry in collaboration with the New Voices Poetry Contest and supported by e-Ananse Library. \n
